Fire rated plywood with IMO/MED certification for large ships
Fire rated plywood for the large shipbuilding industry modified by an innovative treatment that makes the entire panel exceptionally fire resistant, even after sanding or machining.
IMO/MED certificate that confirms its outstanding results in shipbuilding applications.
Composition based on European wood from fast-growing plantations, with excellent physical and mechanical properties, such as ease of machining, lightness, uniformity, stability and surface quality.
Glue type: Class I (interior) according to EN 636
Emissions: Class E1 according to EN 13986
Face grade: BBA/BBA: BBA faces, after the fire-retardant treatment, may present greyish and heterogeneous shades. These aesthetic changes affect the visual uniformity of the panel, therefore their use in visible applications is not recommended. They are advised to be used in lamination processes or in applications where aesthetics are not a demanding requirement.
