Poplar plywood with no added formaldehyde
Naturbind is our range of plywood panels manufactured with a bio-based bonding system based on tannins, with no added formaldehyde, providing high bonding strength and contributing to improved indoor air quality (A+ VOC emission rating).
Naturbind is particularly suitable for painted, covered or veneered applications, where the tonal colour of the bio-based bonding system does not affect the final aesthetic result. Its uniformity, stability and ease of machining make it a versatile solution for a wide range of uses.
Manufactured using European poplar from sustainably managed plantations and produced entirely in Europe, Naturbind is a lightweight and reliable plywood solution for interior applications with finishes.
Glue Type: Class I (interior) Naturbind according to EN 636
Emissions: Class E1 according to EN 13986
Face grade: BBA/BB faces with the natural colour of the poplar core and occasional knots.
Reverse face BB with the natural colour of the poplar core and frequent knots.
Both faces are sanded and repaired*.
*Recommended for lamination with standard HPL and plywood veneers when the reverse face is not visible, has no strict quality requirements or includes a balancing veneer or similar.
