Fire-rated plywood for interior construction
Fire-rated plywood designed for interior construction applications, modified through an innovative treatment that provides exceptional fire resistance throughout the entire panel, even after sanding or machining.
Fireshield Building holds the highest fire performance certifications for wood-based panels: Euroclass B-s1,d0 in Europe, ASTM E-84 Class A in the United States and CAN/ULC S102-10 in Canada. These accreditations confirm its excellent fire performance, significantly reducing carbonisation, smoke development and flame spread, with no flaming particles.
In addition, it is available with EN 45545-2 certification for the railway sector, making it ideal for interior components.
Glue Type: Class I (interior) according to EN 636
Emissions: Class E1 according to EN 13986
Face grade: BBA/BBA: BBA faces, after the fire-retardant treatment, may present greyish and heterogeneous shades. These aesthetic changes affect the visual uniformity of the panel, therefore their use in visible applications is not recommended. They are advised to be used in lamination processes or in applications where aesthetics are not a demanding requirement.
